Yoga Fundamentals: If you are new to yoga or looking to grow your practice from the ground up, return to the basic roots of yoga or learn how to individualize your yoga experience, this class is for you. This eight-week series of customary Hatha yoga sessions will focus on developing proper alignment, balance, breath awareness and core stability using fundamental yoga poses (along with appropriate modified poses) in a friendly and approachable workshop environment. Each week will feature a different anatomical focus supported by a select group of postures to demonstrate how your personal alignment, optional use of props, safety considerations and breathing practices will benefit you in any yoga session.
Total Body Conditioning (TBC): A total body workout designed for improving overall body strength and muscular tone. Stronger muscles mean building up more lean body mass, turning the body into a better calorie-burning machine. Many of these strength exercises you can take to the gym floor for your own workouts. You will definitely notice strength changes for the core, and the upper and lower body.
Core: Strengthen your abs, back, glutes and more in a challenging workout focusing on the core muscles.
Cardio Kickboxing: This electric fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements will kick your cardio fitness to the next level while defining and shaping your body and self confidence! Energetic music, awesome instructors and a group environment will keep you punching kicking and smiling!
Cycle: Cycle is a great exercise class on stationary bikes with variable resistance for all fitness levels. A fun class to really make you sweat, burn calories and have the ride of your life!
Zumba: Zumba combines high-energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. Add some spice and flare to your workout and shake your cha-cha! This Latin-based group exercise class is fun and easy to do. No dance experience required!
Hip Hop: A high-energy class that uses the latest sounds in rap, R&B, and pop together with movements influenced by current video choreographers. Steps & techniques will be broken down, emphasizing that style and personality be brought to the movement. No previous dance experience is necessary.
